Climbing Mountains

My son-in-law just finished up at the Marine Corp Sniper school with top honors and a tremendous amount of physical endurance.  What an awesome marine he is, so I whipped out this card in his honor.

Just love this stamp set  -Climbing Mountains (SS-0322).  I changed it a little bit from the card we made at 2016 FSJ convention. The card stock I used is River Stone (CS-0094), Whipped Cream (CS-0040), Black Licorice (CS-0003) & Journey Brush Silver (CS-0135). I also used various other Fun Stamping Journey products such as Ink pads, silks, Panpastels, glaze, sparkle cuts & dies.

More on the 2016 Convention

 We took a tour of the Journey Crew office just to see where all the creativity and the behind-the-scenes activity takes place.  These are inspiring wall hangings & chachskis in every corner of every room.  I want 'em on my walls too!

2016 Bloom Boxes

A little update on the "Kit of the Month" club - it's now called "Bloom Box".  It still comes with four original designs by our President & co-founder, Richard Garay.  Each month you will receive an exclusive stamp set, four pre-cut & kitted cards and easy to follow instructions.  You will get to play with new product, learn new techniques and get a dose of creative inspiration delivered right to your door. for only $24.95.  These stamp sets are offered exclusively for Bloom Box club members and remain unavailable to others for four months. After that, anyone may purchase the stamp set.

The following are pics of some of the first 2016 Bloom Boxes which are now available for any non-club member. 

March 2016 "Tickled Pink" (SS-0265) is one of my favorites. So fun and employes new techniques. This stamp set is now available to non-club members. 
April 2016 "Light Up" (SS-0280) is such an elegant stamp set.  I can see it being used for several occasions such as weddings, showers, tea parties, missing you, etc.  Fun paper, ribbon & embellishments are all front & center on these 

projects.This stamp set is also now available  to non-club members.

  January 2016  "Tropic Cool" (SS-0257) What a cool way start the new year; with some real cool background techniques and fun fruit.

February 2016  "Glass Blooms"  (SS-0273) This stamp set is designed to suggest a stained glass effect.  Interesting card stock, background techniques, and  embellishments make this kit a must-have!

I'm Back in 2016

It has been a long time since my last post and much has changed in my life.  Mostly my location.  My husband & I both retired from our day jobs, picked up a few of our precious items and moved to Texas to enjoy a new chapter in our lives and I'm lovin' it.  Making new friends & working on my favorite past time and business - Paper crafting with Fun Stampers Journey.  I will not go all the back to where I left off in 2014, but I will try to bring you up to date.

June 8, 2016 Fun Stampers Convention "CELEBRATE YOU".  We had so much fun in Scottsdale, AZ.  Of course, Richard & Gabby Garay our FSJ  President & co-founders  were there to inspire, coach and introduce a ton of new products.
